The Credit Union was created as Fresno County Employees Credit Union in 1941, but it wasn’t until years later that it had an office location to call home. In the meantime, it existed in the briefcase of Fred E. Main, one of the Credit Union’s first members. The Credit Union experienced tremendous success over the following seven decades, including defining the organization to be known as the Credit Union that truly cares about each and every member, as reflected in our member surveys. In the 1990's, we converted to a Federally Chartered Credit Union and became Fresno County Federal Credit Union; in 2017, the Credit Union became Noble Credit Union.
"Noble" is a name that speaks to who we are and what we do. We treat members with kindness, dignity, and honor. We do the right thing by helping members make sound financial decisions. The name fits us. From now on, members can proudly say, every day, “I am Noble.”
