Suncrest Bank was founded in 2008 by a group of Central Valley business leaders and professionals. This group recognized and responded to a critical economic issue at that time — the need to provide financing to local businesses in an extremely weak economy, and at a time the large national Banks, and even many local banks, were cutting off lending and withdrawing from the market. In our first five years, Suncrest put over $100 million into the local economies of Visalia and Porterville, helping small business customers acquire farmland and commercial real estate, finance equipment purchases, inject working capital into their operations, and undertake new construction and development projects.
